Data Analyst


**This is a volunteer (unpaid) position.**

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our mission by managing and interpreting organizational data. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key data related to donations, community projects, financial contributions, and family assistance programs. By leveraging data-driven insights, the Data Analyst will help optimize our operations, improve fundraising efforts, and enhance our impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, including donor databases, project reports, and financial systems.

  • Develop reports and visualizations to communicate trends, insights, and program impact to internal members.

  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to donations, project execution, and family assistance efforts.

  • Support fundraising and donor engagement efforts by analyzing donor behavior and identifying trends to improve outreach and retention strategies.

  • Assist in tracking the effectiveness of various initiatives and recommend data-driven strategies for improvement.

  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure data integrity and provide insights for strategic planning.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track real-time metrics for leadership decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices for nonprofit data management.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for a non-technical audience.

  • Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising and donor management systems is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Passion for social impact and alignment with the mission of Spread the Love Projects.

Term Limit:

6 - 12 months 

Hours:

  • Weekly Meetings

  • Asynchronous work throughout the week

  • Average 2 hours per week
