Spread the Love Projects participates in UPMC’s annual Walk for Children’s event

         Our team, family, and friends at Spread the Love Projects participated in the 2023 UPMC Walk for Children’s event on Saturday, June 3rd. The Walk for Children’s is a charitable event in which registered teams have members who walk a set course in order to raise money. It took place at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh (although some virtually walked) and our team walked the 1 mile course to support pediatric health.                                                                                                                                                                                                 
        This event raised $1,027,543.72 with 4,156 walkers participating. The walk directly supported the advancement in healthcare of children in Pittsburgh as the funds were allocated to the UPMC Children’s Hospital. 

     
       The Spread the Love team was awarded bronze level top team status with 43 total walkers. We were able to raise $1,473 for a cause that directly supports our mission of providing families relief of pediatric medical bills. 
        Spread the Love Projects would like to express our gratitude to the friends and family who supported us by donating and participating in the event with us. We would also like to thank our partners at UPMC as well as express our delight to come together and support a great cause. As a team we ask for continued support, so that we can continue to fight the struggles families face in pediatric healthcare.
